Hi, This question comes from a reader in Pakistan (but applies everywhere.)
Answer: Addiction transfer is very, very common unfortunately because the cause of the addiction is not gone. An extremely small percentage of people are actually ever free of their addiction. The statistics: The average inpatient rehab number of visits (at least 30 days) is at least 3 times. I have heard of people attending rehab-at $22K to $45K per shot--more than 10 times!! Still, after all that, less than 3% of people are free of their addiction. Of those, 95% go on to another addiction.
What this means is, the actual addiction REMOVAL rate is 0.15%--it is so small as to be almost scientifically and statistically insignificant. So, applaud those you know who had an addiction and are actually completely free of all addictions and bad habits (including smoking, drinking, work, sex, shopping, Internet, gambling, food-- Bulimia, Anorexia and all other eating disorders including emotional eating, work, obsessive compulsive disorders, and all drug /substance addictions.)
What on earth can be done about this? What I do with Thought Shifting(TM), a recipe I created which is based on a healing gift I have been given, is erase the reasons you have the addiction in the first place--so you can be free of your addiction and all secondary addictions. Look at the special fr ee report you may have already requested at http://www.EraseAddictionsForever.com If you haven't already, you will receive an e-mail with your special fr ee report you requested (it is addictions in general, the causes of sex addiction & all other addictions are basically the same, although what triggers them varies.)
Then, if you want help to eliminate the source of your addictions check out my Have Anything(TM) program featuring Thought Shifting(TM). It is all remote via telephone and Internet. I have a group staring 6/25, it will be the last one like this and the last one for quite a while as I am changing it.
